BAYANO LAKE IN PANAMA

Located in the Province of Panama, and Tortí Chepo is Lake Bayano , a place where you can discover nature in all its splendor , with calm waters and lush fauna.Across the water , on one of its banks is one of the most impressive caves Panama , which offers underground waterfalls , bat cupola , lush vegetation and to an inland lake where you can swim and relaxing moments . One area not to be missed .Bayano Lake has become a natural habitat for hundreds of species of birds and various animals , including some that are found in very few places in the world.In recent years significantly increased interest in this place by nature lovers , officials and tourists from all over the world .

historyBayano is an artificial lake which dates from 1979 , to provide hydraulic power to the hydroelectric Bayano , which even today continues to supply electricity to Panama City and surrounding provinces.

You can travel around the lake by boat, watching the wildlife and birds unique to the area, or venture into the caves mentioned above. Also, you can eat at various places straws village just ten minutes away.



Also you can take excursions, or venture into motorcycle (motocross) by one of the nature trails that have been traced to explore the surrounding jungle
